This was one of the most unique weddings I have had the opportunity to photograph. The wedding took place at their home on a beautiful property just outside of Sutton’s Bay in Northern Michigan. The bride and groom run the Human Nature School in Traverse City, which has some really awesome programs for kids (there are classes for adults, too!). They created their amazing deerskin wedding attire themselves by tanning the hide to a soft leather and then designing and sewing these beautiful pieces. They asked their guests to create a ceremony circle surrounding bride and groom with lots of love in which to say their vows. I wish you guys a long life of happiness and love!
