I was so excited to be photographing Katie & Joe’s wedding at Ranch Rudolph in Traverse City, Michigan last month. Katie had called me a few months before the wedding after being recommended from someone I met in the Northern Michigan music festival scene. We had a lot in common and I was excited to be asked to photograph her wedding! The ceremony was outside next to the Boardman River. The weather was perfect! So many friends and family surrounded them while they said their vows. It was really beautiful. The ceremony was set up to be both outside and inside. They had The Ampersands, a local Northern Michigan band, play live music under the tent outside after they cut the cake. Everyone came out on the dance floor! There was so much love and laughter everywhere. It was an honor to capture this beautiful celebration in photographs. Congratulations Katie & Joe!
