I had the opportunity to photograph a wonderful event last week. Friends of Michigan Midwives (FOMM) had a benefit concert last Thursday at The City Opera House in Traverse City, Michigan. So many businesses donated to the event. There was a silent auction going on throughout the night while an amazing line up of local artists were playing on stage. E Minor started the night with her beautiful voice. Seth Bernard and May Erlewine came on stage next and then The Crane Wives finished off the night. The energy throughout the concert was amazing. The music was beautiful. It was so great to see so many come out and support women and their choice of where they birth their babies. Thanks so much to Kathi Mulder, Dance of Life Midwifery, FOMM, and all the volunteers that helped make Thursday such a success.
