Third Kingdom was an amazing plant based all mushroom restaurant in New York City. It just closed in March of 2026. I decided to get out there for one last hurrah before it closed so I could share some fresh ideas with my chefs who buy mushrooms from my other business Grand Traverse Mushrooms. I am so glad I did! A lot of my New York friends joined and we had such a good time. The menu was SO GOOD and we got to try almost the entire menu… omg the Maitake dish was to die for!!! I think my other favorites were the lions mane dumplings and the porcini ice cream and chocolate lava cake with candied shiitakes. I will miss this place for sure!!
