I love beach sessions. When these girls mamma told me she wanted a beach session because she likes to remember the summer and the water in the middle of winter, I understood completely. As someone who likes to swim in Lake Michigan on the coldest of fall days, I was ready to capture these beautiful images of her daughters. We met at Clinch Park Beach in Traverse City, Michigan to capture images of them along West Bay. It was a beautiful evening. Remembering the heart of summer in the dead of winter is crucial in Northern Michigan. Let’s all enjoy the stillness and cold of the winter with summer in our hearts.
